Finishing presser wanted in Ringgold County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Ringgold County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift.
