Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Part-time with flexible hours.
