Garment machinist • Pontotoc County, Mississippi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day-to-day duties: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality We offer $17 per hour plus benefits.
