Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits On the job you will handle: • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
