Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Grayson County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
