Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool.
