Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Pankshin, Plateau State. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
