Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Durham County, North Carolina. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day to day you will insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router.
