We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Mitchell County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit 6+ years on the tools preferred.
