Kitchen steward — Josephine County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Josephine County, Oregon. The role involves polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Performance bonus on top of base pay.
