Fettler wanted in Richardson County

Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Richardson County, Nebraska. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
