Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Frio County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise building project. The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
