Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Garfield County, Utah. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line.
