Garment machinist • Osceola County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Osceola County, Florida. The job is on an export house sewing floor. On the job you will handle: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Part-time with flexible hours.
