You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing On a typical shift you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays.
