Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Haralson County, Georgia. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
