Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in La Salle County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
