Now hiring: gas pipeline fitter (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Comanche County, Texas. The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
