Immediate opening: brick mason (South Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Pickens County, South Carolina. The job is on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
