Urgent requirement: overhead (EOT) crane operator (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Louisa County, Iowa. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports.
