Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Jim Hogg County, Texas. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
