Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Clayton County, Georgia. You will work on a residential tower site. Day-to-day duties: • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
