Production line inspector — Newton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production line inspector in Newton County, Texas. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Six days a week, one day off.
