The role involves: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
