Health and safety supervisor — Borough of Halton

Now hiring: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Borough of Halton, England. Your main tasks: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Rotating shifts.
