You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
