Incoming goods inspector wanted in Phillips County

Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Phillips County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
