Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Alger County, Michigan. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
