Health and safety supervisor — Akpabuyo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Akpabuyo, Cross River State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Day to day you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
