Garden maintenance worker — Clarke County

Join our team: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Clarke County, Virginia. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
