We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Allendale County, South Carolina. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
