Dispatch rider — Western Connecticut Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. Day-to-day duties: • Call or message customers to confirm the address and drop-off point • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset Requirements: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Willing to work shifts, weekends and peak meal times • Physically fit to ride long hours and lift parcels up to 20 kg At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
