Fast-fit technician — Giles County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fast-fit technician in Giles County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
