Great opportunity: power float operator (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Bergen County, New Jersey. You will work in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
