We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Bremer County, Iowa. The job is at a haulage company. You will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift.
