Slinger signaller wanted in Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Crawford County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts.
