Argon welder wanted in Marion County

Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Marion County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
