Machinist wanted in Desha County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Desha County, Arkansas. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
