Aluminium tig welder — Reynolds County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Reynolds County, Missouri. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
