We are recruiting: cnc lathe operator (Rhode Island)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. The role involves check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Part-time with flexible hours.
