Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Edwards County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
