Gardener — Ontario County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Ontario County, New York. Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
