Gas service engineer — Cleveland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Cleveland County, North Carolina. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. On a typical shift you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
