We are recruiting: offshore rigger (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
