Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Your main tasks: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
