We are recruiting: escalator technician (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Duplin County, North Carolina. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
