Kitchen porter wanted in Nicholas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Nicholas County, Kentucky. You will work in a catering unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) The role involves: • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
