Production welder — Charanchi

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Charanchi, Katsina State. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
