Sand plant operator • Itu, Akwa Ibom State

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Itu, Akwa Ibom State. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
