Garment machinist wanted in Huerfano County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Huerfano County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
